Her investigations span sensitive matters involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other forms of workplace or institutional misconduct.
Yael’s professional path reflects a deep commitment to communication, trust-building, and fairness. Before joining Grutman Law, she worked in education, non-profit organizations, and health advocacy, where she gained extensive experience in interviewing, documentation, and guiding people through sensitive or high-stakes processes. As a teacher and admissions professional, she regularly assessed individuals, facilitated difficult conversations, and developed clear written evaluations—skills that directly translate into her investigative work today. She also draws from her time as a health advocate, where accuracy, compliance, and client trust were essential to navigating complex regulatory systems.

Yael earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, cum laude, from San Diego State University and completed graduate studies in education at Hebrew Union College. She is fluent in English and Hebrew and conversational in Spanish, allowing her to connect effectively across diverse communities.
